You are moving your office or your store or even your warehouse location.  How do you let everyone know where to find you?

Of course, you will update your information on your website and all of your social media profiles.  Next you will print new business cards reflecting the updated information.  If you generate your sales orders, contracts and invoices using software that stores your logo and contact info, remember to have your IT staff update that as well.

But how do you make sure that all of your customers, clients, referral partners and even vendors know where to find you?  You could just mail out a plain postcard and hope that everyone updates their database.  First you have to hope that they notice your postcard, received your email etc.  Second chances are that many of the people that you met at networking events and even your customers will not make the update. They are just too busy or they do not have a good system for tracking your information in the first place.  The best way to be sure that everyone who needs to have your updated information is to send them something that will grab their attention.  Below are a few ideas

These mint pouches (available in three sizes) can be mailed in padded envelopes, left on the counter or receptionists desk for a few weeks before the actual move or dropped off at your clients in person.  You can also hand them out at networking events.  Because they will stay on a desk for at least a couple of days it serves as a reminder for the recipient to update your information

Delivery Truck monthly calendar

If you are moving in the last quarter of the year, what could be better than mailing out these calendars that will sit on your customer’s desk all year not only reminding them of your new address, but also of your services and that you are there to help them

Skin Packed direct mail piece

Whether it is a lip balm, as shown, or even just a magnet in the shape of a truck, by attaching an item to a postcard you can convey your information with ease – no envelope to open, and because it is three dimensional and not flat, it will get noticed.  Best of all, we can mail these directly off the production floor so you don’t have to be busy with mailing when you are trying to move and you save on freight

custom ice cream scoop and ice cream delivered to the door

For those special clients why not combine your move with a gift for them?  The ice cream scoop with your logo and a card with your new information is sent out to your targeted list.  Along with the ice cream scoop and message is information for the recipient to claim their ice cream (Ben and Jerry’s or Haagen Dazs).  It is ordered from a website and delivered to their door.

imprinted container with peanuts

“We don’t want you to go nuts trying to find us, please update your records”  Is what you would print on the container or on a card that is included in the mailing.  Because these come in a box, your message will not get lost in the deluge of emails and flat mail that people get everyday.  These can be individually shipped straight from the factory so they are super fresh and you do not need to be busy with mailings when you are trying to get ready to move

When you are moving you have plenty to do, but you do need to ensure that your clients and customers can find you.  A three dimensional mailing will stand out so that your move does not get lost in the shuffle.  Just as with any other sales element, your move is not about the client, but you can make it about them by sending them a token item that conveys your message that they are important to you and you want them to have an easy time finding you as you move.
